Every time I read an article on a website or a post on a blog and find lots of typos, I think about contacting the site or the writer, politely pointing out those typos, and asking if they would like to hire an editor. My brain is always on the lookout for freelancing opportunities these days, but I have never actually done this because I worry that no matter how polite I am about it, the person will think I’m being rude. However, I also wonder if I’m walking on eggshells for no reason and need to just take the risk. So, is this a good business idea or just a way to lose Twitter followers? What do you think?

P.S. If you find typos in any of my posts, please feel free to let me know. I’m an editor (albeit an imperfect one), so it won’t hurt my feelings. In fact, I’ll be grateful.
